About the film

Orin Jager is a part-time concession stand worker, who spends his spare time writing epic fantasy stories. He submits them for publication, but they are always rejected.

Orin lives in the world of his imagination. He sees himself as the brave Lord Jager, accompanied by his two faithful knights, Fowler and Derek, who are always ready to give him advice. The magazine editor who keeps rejecting Orin's stories becomes the evil 'Dark Lord,' his office a forbidding castle.

Orin also has his eye on the editor's beautiful secretary, but in the fantasy realm, she is the Dark Lord's sister. However, if she and Lord Jager could wed, it would bring peace to the land.

Shadow of the Dark Lord is a compelling blend of comedy, action and romance, set across two worlds. We aim to create a highly entertaining short film that stands out from the crowd.
